Tip No 10 # For A Happy Marriage
Religion
This happen to be the most sensitive topic of all. What seems to be rosy and loving in a courtship, may sometimes lead to disaster when religion is brought up.
In fact matters pertaining to religion ought to be settled before marriage. Make Clear whatever that is obscure and agree to it.
A personal experience,
Just months before my marriage to my wife, Agatha, we actually did discuss some issues pertaining to religion. She is a chatolic and I am the non catholic. But we are able to sought things out in the end. I must say it really is a mountain high hurdle
But in the end, things just goes on smoothly
Points to note:
Always respect each other religion
Do discuss the religion of your children upfront. Although this may be too far sighted but i would reckon you to discuss it upfront
Try to pracitce one religion as that would be better for your newly created family

Tip: No 4 # For A Happy Marriage
When your wife gets real mad!
When your wife gets real mad, don't get mad too. Oe else there will be a volcanic explosion. Just listen to her and nod.. Agree to all what she says. ( Even if she is at the wrong side!) Once she has cooled down. Only then, you can give her your opinion. Never ever give your opinion whilst she is at a boiling temperature. This applies to both spouses as well

If that does not take place, if death arises to either party, the living party would find great difficulty coping with a loss of live.

The Wedding
Here comes the bell, Here comes the bell.....
It has always been my dream to tie the knot at a young age of 18. I still could recall i would get all sorts of wedding books and magazines at that age. I have even gone further by purchasing books on baby. ha! Needless to say i was rather ignorant as to what marriage was all about. Thinking that it is all about getting a girl friend. Date her .. And there it goes... Here comes the bell.... here comes the bell.
In reality, would that be really as simple as that?
How It Begins:
My dream really came true at age 32.. phew.. Much longer than i have actually expected.. ha ha ha.. i guess when one really eagerly wanted something so much, hindrance tend to crop up even more.
My lovely wife is Agatha Tan. Very Lovely indeed.... Got to know her from a local bank whilst i was working at a local insurance company. One of those flirtatious days... i was flirting with her. Giving her three stocks of roses. Her face turned blood red.. Somehow or rather, the relationship grew from there.. To cut things short, we got married on 3rd February 2007.
Recently, she told me that she was not really impressed with the flowers at all. What really attracted her then? She could not really give an answer to that.
I reckon it has something to do with :
1 Trust
2 Understanding
3 Caring
It took me about five Great Years to actually tie the knot with her. ( Tough Lady, huh)
What i learned since:
1 Lots of understanding needed.
2 Be frank to her at right time
3 Will have to compromise, be it with parents and parents in law. So they say when one marry a girl, one ain't just marrying her, one also marry her parents too.
